There are several closure options to choose from
The distinguishing features can be described using the following criteria and requirements:
- Should the festival wristbands be transferable or non-transferable?
- Should the festival ribbon fasteners be able to be closed with or without closing pliers?
- Are the fasteners suitable for all types of fabric entry bands (woven or printed) or only for woven festival bands?
- Should the locks offer a high level of protection against tampering or is security less important?
SmartLock closure
Highest level of security thanks to internal locking mechanism made of high-quality steel.
- Patented closure
- Festival wristbands with a flat SmartLock clasp are tamper-proof—once the clasp is closed, the wristbands cannot be transferred to another person (i.e., they are designed for single use).
- The SmartLock fastener is self-closing (i.e. no locking pliers are required).
- The SmartLock fastener is suitable for woven festival ribbons (15 mm and 20 mm width).
Slide Lock closure
Highest level of security thanks to internal locking mechanism made of high-quality steel.
- Patented closure
- Festival wristbands with cylindrical slide-lock closures are tamper-proof—once the closure is secured, the wristbands cannot be transferred to another person (i.e., they are designed for single use).
- The Slide-Lock closure is self-closing (i.e. no locking pliers are required).
- The Slide-Lock clasp is suitable for woven festival wristbands (15 mm wide).
Aluminum closure
Highest level of security: during use, the festival wristband is pulled over the wearer’s hand and locked tamper-proof by special locking devices, which can be rented from Heliotextil.
- Festival wristbands with aluminum clasps secured by special clamping pliers are tamper-proof and non-transferable (i.e., designed for single use)
- The aluminum closure is not self-closing (i.e. special closing pliers are required).
- The aluminum fastener is suitable for woven and printed festival ribbons.
Economy Lock
The Economy Lock closure is a pure plastic closure and therefore less expensive. This closure is suitable for events where security/risk of tampering is less important.
- Festival wristbands with a round Economy-Lock clasp cannot be transferred once the clasp has been closed (i.e., they are designed for single use).
- The Economy-Lock fastener is self-closing (i.e. no locking pliers are required).
- The economy lock fastener is suitable for woven and printed festival ribbons.
- For resellers, these items are also available without the “htex.at” imprint or, in larger quantities, with your own imprint.
Double O Lock Closure
Double O Lock Closure
Our Double O wristband clasp provides additional security for the more affordable, custom-printed Economy wristbands.
By threading the wristband through the sides of the clasp, the risk of tampering by unscrewing the clasp is completely eliminated.

4-row G-Lock
High level of security thanks to improved locking mechanism compared to the Economy Lock fastener (double row of barbs with center bar)

- Festival wristbands with a round 4-row G-Lock clasp are tamper-proof—once the clasp is closed, the wristbands cannot be transferred to another person (i.e., they are designed for single use).
- The 4-row G-Lock fastener is self-closing (i.e. no locking pliers are required).
- The 4-row G-Lock fastener is suitable for woven and printed festival ribbons.
Wood closure
Two-part hybrid made of wood and plastic – plastic is reduced by 50%.
- This closure is suitable for events where security or the risk of tampering is less important.
- Festival wristbands with wooden clasps cannot be transferred once the clasp has been fastened (i.e., they are designed for single use).
- The wooden closure is self-closing (i.e. no closing pliers are required).
- The wooden fastener is suitable for woven and printed festival ribbons.
Wooden eyelet / metal eyelet
- For festival wristbands that are intended to be transferable (i.e., reusable).
- Wooden eyelets and metal eyelets are suitable for woven and printed festival ribbons.
Cord Lock Closure
- For festival wristbands that are intended to be transferable (i.e., reusable).
- A cord lock is also known as a cord stopper. It is easy to use thanks to its smooth-operating push mechanism.
- Thanks to the simple spring mechanism, the Cord Lock fasteners can be easily adjusted to the desired position or length and locked in place.
- Suitable for woven and printed festival wristbands
- Also available to resellers without the “htex.at” imprint, or in larger quantities with their own imprint
